Like your shyest friend, precious little Azariah yearns for a quiet life with the devotion of a small, select circle of loving people. Once she feels safe and secure, she not only enjoys petting and attention, she will come looking for you for that attention and cuddles.She loves her busy siblings, who understand her need to watch and assess things before hopping right into the lively antics in their many comical kitten adventures and explorations! As comfortable as she is with them, she needs a home with no dogs because they make her nervous, and young children would probably do the same. Her uniquely soft coat, both in dilute tortie coloring and silky density, is the purrfect attire for this gentle sweetheart who dreams of a serene home with adoring, patient people to surround her with abundant love and security. All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

Go meet their pets

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
