🌟 Skid 🌟
Skid is a male, possibly Dutch Shepherd/Plott Hound mix and is nearly a year old. He came into the shelter of July 2023 as a puppy. Skid does well with other dogs; he was perfect on his walk downtown with 8 other shelter dogs. He loves people as well and walks well on a leash. Can be a tad shy at first, but warms up quickly. He loves to take toys into his dog house in his kennel and play with them. Skid's adoption fee is $60 and he is neutered and vaccinated. We adoption nationwide as long as you come to the animal shelter to adopt the dog. You can submit an application first or visit the shelter first, whichever is better for you. An adoption contract must be signed and adoption fee must be paid.

Tishomingo Animal Shelter is a no-kill dog shelter ran by the City of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. All dogs are well-cared for and socialized by our animal control officer, Jordan, and volunteers.
We have a supporting 501C3 non-profit, Lucky Paws Doghouse Inc, that helps with the spay/neuter and vaccination of all dogs at the shelter; the Venmo donation link on this page goes toward the 501C3.
