Freckles is a male Red Heeler/Cattle Dog mix and is around 11 months old. He is very people friendly, gets along with other dogs, and walks well on a leash. Since he is a younger dog and a high-energy breed, he needs a family that would love to play with him and let him run around in the backyard. He is a fast-learner and is great about coming right in to his kennel, calmly. Freckles' adoption fee is $60 and he is neutered and vaccinated. We adoption nationwide as long as you come to the animal shelter to adopt the dog. You can submit an application first or visit the shelter first, whichever is better for you. An adoption contract must be signed and adoption fee must be paid.

Tishomingo Animal Shelter is a no-kill dog shelter ran by the City of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. All dogs are well-cared for and socialized by our animal control officer, Jordan, and volunteers.
We have a supporting 501C3 non-profit, Lucky Paws Doghouse Inc, that helps with the spay/neuter and vaccination of all dogs at the shelter; the Venmo donation link on this page goes toward the 501C3.
