My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Belgian Waffle here! I am sweet as can be, cute as they come. easy to have around, and a very friendly pup! My needs are pretty simple, just someone to love me like I deserve! In return, I promise to be your loyal companion who will give you the best snuggles and some occasional puppy kisses.

I love everything and everyone! Other dogs, cats, and humans (big & small). I have been learning all sorts of new things like going for walks, sitting for treats, and what it means to “potty outside”. If you keep me on a schedule and watch for my cues, I will almost always go outside to do my business! Foster Mom says I am about 90% potty trained and she knows I will get there soon (she thinks I am very smart).

Some other things I enjoy are squeaky toys, couch cuddles, belly rugs, sleeping through the night (which foster mom appreciates) and treats! I have good manners for a pup my age and II am a quick learner! Foster Mom calls me her gem girl and thinks my family is going to be very lucky when they find me! You see, I am beautiful with soft wavy fur, the kind of pup who likes to play but doesn’t get overly rowdy, smart (did aI mention that already) and really don't get bothered by much.

Thanks for considering me!
Much love 💛
Belgian Waffle (the best kind of breakfast companion)

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
