My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Champ Boss is a brown, black & white 9-week-old Bochi (Boston-Chihuahua)--best guess. Mom is definitely a Boston terrier.  Being a puppy, Champ Boss loves to play with the other puppies, loves toys, kids, other dogs and all people.  There are no cats in the foster home.

Champ Boss, his mother and siblings came into rescue through someone who had been given the little family from what we think was a backyard breeder. He has had his first puppy shots and at present, weighs 3.6 lb. He's the biggest of the puppies.

Adoption fee $515 which includes microchip registration. ADOPTION OF PUPPY REQUIRES A PHYSICAL FENCE.

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.

More about this rescue

All breeds have their own particular needs and rescued pets often have special requirements as well, very often in want of medical care, often lacking nourishment and kindness, and often expensive to rehabilitate.

Because we have had Boston Terriers for many years, we are very familiar with their habits, peculiarities and their special needs.

We operate across the southeast under the auspices of the Boston Terrier Rescue Network. We share information and resources in all of the USA with affiliated Boston Rescues.
