My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome boy is Blaze! Blaze is a fun, energetic, and klutzy boy. He’ll keep you laughing with his antics. Blaze loves toys and chewing on bones. He enjoys going on walks and playdates with other dogs. Most of all he’s happiest to be with his person.

Blaze gets along well with children, dogs, and cats. He is potty trained and crate trained. Since Blaze is still young he would benefit from further training. He’d make a great companion for kids that enjoy playing outside. If you’re looking for a happy, playful addition to your family, Blaze is your guy!

We believe Blaze is a mixed breed dog (currently 45 lbs) and was born around 2/10/2023. He is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $300 which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter. If this pet is under 6 months old, it may still need to be spayed/neutered. This procedure is scheduled through Brave by the age of 6 months and the cost is covered through the adoption fee. If you’re interested in adopting this puppy/dog, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). We are 100% volunteer staffed and will respond to your email as soon as possible. After you have submitted an and been approved, we will set up a meet and greet between you and the puppy/dog. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to learn more about Brave Animal Rescue and our mission.

More about this rescue

We are an entirely foster-based rescue in Lincoln, Nebraska. Because we do not have a physical shelter location, our animals are placed directly into foster homes where they immediately begin learning how to be outstanding companion animals.
