Smart. I already know some simple doggie commands. I’m house trained and kennel nicely when my foster family is away. I’m alert and l’ll notify you if Amazon has made a delivery or if your family is making suspicious noises in the house. I’ve got a fantastic sense of smell. I would excel at dog nose work training. I’m playful and love all types of toys.
Oh did I mention, I’m gorgeous! No really, everybody tells me how pretty I am when we go out on the town. Alright, now onto the sass in me. I didn’t have a lot of structure in my 2.5 years. Some of my polite house skills need refinement. My nose can get me in trouble, especially when there is something interesting on the counter. Foster mom is teaching me not to counter surf. Also, when I’m excited I tend to jump on people and doors. It’s so hard to contain my excitement. I’m also working on walking nicely on leash.
The diva in me; things I can’t change. I have a sensitive tummy. I need a person(s) to keep me on a diet of foods that work for me. No table food or lots of treats or I’ll gas ya out of a room! Pee-ew! I’m a talker. I like to chirp, cry, whine when I don’t understand or my food doesn’t come fast enough. I also like to share your personal space at times to show you sooo much love.
I’m looking for a loving, stable, quieter home for the first time in my life. I bond easily and quickly to my person. I’m looking for adventures (walks, car rides) and then some good ole fashion couch time. Hopefully my person likes Dateline; I love to solve a crime.
Raina is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
