Adopt me! Adopt me, please! We’re a perfect match, I swear I feel it in my bones!!! Haha, get it? ‘Cause my name is Bones…You get it, I knew you would! Well, hi there! It’s nice to meet you. As you now know, my name is Bones. As a Bulldog who was recently given a second chance at a better life, I am so grateful for the rescue experience thus far. The terrific toys and tasty treats are just a bonus to all the snuggles and belly rubs I’ve been offered. Bulldogs are known for our docile, friendly and gregarious nature. It’s true that I’ve never met a stranger in my life and I’m eager to make new friends wherever I go. So far, I’ve been a gentle boy with every dog I’ve come across (whether they like me or not). Cats are interesting too, but I’m not quite sure what to make of them yet - especially since the one in the office likes to smack my head all the time. I’ve already mastered a few basic manners, for instance my sit is P-E-R-F-E-C-T!!! I’ll also do anything and I mean anything for a snack…potatoes and bacon pieces are my favorite. SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
