Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet KONA! 💜☀️🎀🐾
This little thing is the epitome of resilient AND adorable💕
At 9 weeks old, Little Miss Kona found herself next on Clovis’ euthanasia list, even though her life had just begun. Her depressing kennel videos led us to believe she was sick, so we had her transported directly to a vet from the shelter. Turns out this poor thing was healthy, just absolutely terrified and shut down.🥺
Little Kona was riddled with ticks- it’s evident she was kept outside, and never knew the comforts of a cozy bed or lap. Her tail is also docked at the hands of whoever owned her previously😢 Despite the crappy first couple months of Kona’s existence- she is learning to love, trust, and come into her puppy self!
Kona is a shy girl, who LOVES doggy companions. In her furever home, we are looking for a friendly, doggy pal - she needs a k9 partner, a Batman to her Robin 💜💚 She has been doing great responding to cues from older dogs too. She is also great with kitties 🐈⬛
Kona is crate trained and working on potty training. She is a lovable puppy that needs a patient family who’s willing to take things at her pace. Kona LOVES toys, and she is working on getting comfortable with her harness/leash. She is building her confidence with meeting new people, and learning that not everyone is as scary as her previous “family.” We want to find her a REAL, LOVING furever family that will treat her like the little princess she is 👑
Kona is guessed to be a Heeler/Pit/Terrier type mix-now 12 weeks old & fully vetted. Her adoption fee is $425 to help cover her vetting. Please submit an adoption application if interested in meeting this adorable, deserving pup! 🐾
