My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Leila and I'd love to be your new best friend!

I'm a young pup who is full of energy, and I'm looking for an active new family to become a part of!

I didn't have the best start to my life, but I know things will only improve from here! I somehow ended up lost as a stray. Living on the street is no place for any dog, but especially not a baby puppy! Now I'm safe here at Heal, but I really want a family to call my very own!!

I'm up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and I also have a microchip. I would do well in a home with other dogs, and would be soooo excited to have a sibling to play with!!

Since I'm a young pup I will need a family with lots of time and patience to devote to my training. I need you to teach me all of the things a good doggie should know as I grow up!

So if you're looking for a new best friend and think I might be the pup for you, please stop by Heal and spend some time getting to know me!

More about this shelter

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned and abused dogs and cats. It depends on donations, sponsorships and other tangible support from local residents and businesses.

Our vision is a self sustaining, no-kill shelter which will house the animals until they find their forever home. Additionally, it is our goal to breed awareness, stimulate education and inspire the public to become animal advocates.

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a voice for those that cannot speak. Join us in speaking for those that need us most . . . the animals.
