Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cupcake! This adorable 8-year-old Shih Tzu came to us from a difficult situation involving multiple animals. She was quite matted and dirty, but after a good grooming she is looking fabulous. Cupcake has lived respectfully with dogs, cats, and even turtles, but she would also do well as the only pet in the household as she craves human attention. She’s disinterested in playing with the other dogs, though she enjoys watching them play. She's house trained (does not appear interested in a doggy door and will let you know it’s time to go out with a bark or two). She is not crate trained, but doesn’t appear to need to be crated and can be left alone. She is not a big barker. She is a good eater (prefers her dry food mixed with a little moist) but she could stand to lose a pound or two for optimum health. She walks nicely on a leash, for short periods. She would need to be trained up to longer walks. She does have a habit of standing right behind you, on leash, which could be a tripping hazard for those with balance issues. Interestingly, she does not like grass. Cupcake is overflowing with love and is searching for a forever home with comfortable laps, where she can be pampered and spoiled for the rest of her days.
