My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Now, if you’re familiar with SNIPSA and those most closely involved, then you most definitely recognize a few of these names. Named after our director and her very own litter of kiddos, meet Mama Shannon and her four puppies Eli, Claudia, Benjamin and Madeleine. This scruffy bunch is tiny, squatty and boy are they confident! Nobody is safe from their sweet kisses as you pass by their pen. As Yorkie mixes, you can expect them to grow into affectionate, energetic and intelligent companions! Their young age offers them plenty of time to adjust to most home environments, so if you already have other pets they will adapt quickly. As a tiny breed, these little ones are perfect for city living. These perfect pocket-sized travel companions are ready to accompany you on all of your greatest adventures! So, submit an application to meet one of these mini mutts today – they won’t last long!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
