Here's what the humans have to say about me:
So I was sitting on death row at the Laredo Animal Shelter in Texas, scheduled to be euthanized for “aggressive” behavior when a lady with brains took a look at me and realized I was a bit banged up and my eye was badly wounded and I was probably in severe pain. She takes me out and takes me to her vet and it turns out she was right. I’m a sweet little lady and I almost lost my life because nobody at the shelter noticed!
My name is Nana and I am a 6-year-old, 9 lb Chihuahua mix with a calm demeanor, and an easygoing attitude, currently staying in a foster home, and my eye is looking so much better with daily drops. The vet suspects I was beaten but I’m not holding it against anyone. I am friendly with people and other dogs and I am in love with doggy toys. Chew toys, squeaky toys, or stuffed toys, I’ll drag them around and keep them on my doggy bed so I can lounge around and play at the same time. I’m adorable. I am affectionate, and love snuggles and pets and I rarely bark. I love going for walks and I won't complain if we need to take a ride in the car. I don't dig in the yard or chew your belongings, and I already use a potty pad while working on some housebreaking skills. My foster mom has been having fun dressing me up and says I escaped euthanasia and endured so much that I deserve to be pampered and spoiled. I’m not disagreeing with her but mostly I just want love, safety, and a big bunch of doggy toys. Next up, I’m moving to Connecticut and hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started!
