My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Like his namesake Blues Brother, Jake had a rough start to life, and he's just beginning to see the light. For our tiny house panther, this meant not knowing how much food would be available and not trusting humans. But like Jake Blues, our Jake has seen the light! He's slowly learning that humans are here to love on him and treat him well, and in response, he's blossoming into a sweetheart. He's still a mellow kitty, with a definite shy streak. He's perfectly content laying on his bed and napping, but he also has a playful side, and he loves playing with a kitty companion and some toys--specifically wand toys (those are like catnip for Jake). He also loves putting his paw in his busy box and batting the balls around. He loves being talked to and will observe you while giving you the slow blinking treatment. Jake is a gentle boy who doesn't realize how much love he has to give. He's waiting for you to help him bloom!
