My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Morty is just over 1 year old, and lives in a house with children and a cat. He has been neutered, crate trained, and gone to a 6-week training class. He is super smart; the instructor said he could be a "circus dog" and easily learn lots of tricks. Morty has super soft fur and loves to cuddle. We have some family changes coming up and unfortunately cannot have a dog in coming months, so need to find a new loving home for Morty.

Morty would be happiest with someone who is very active, and/or will give him a "job". He is a "high drive" dog, with lots of energy. He'd love to live with someone who takes him mountain biking or long distance running, or trained him to do a job on a farm. Although loved be our children, Morty chases kids when they run and jumps on them, and can be "mouthy"; apparently normal for this breed. Fine for teens, not great for small kids. He lays by my feet all day when I work from home. He'd love to be an active person's best friend.
