Hi, I'm Chickpea!

About me:
Chickpea is super sweet and has the most adorable underbite. He's about 20 pounds so he's not very big.

He can be a little nervous in new environments. He's very friendly and likes to meet new people. He's happy to meet new dogs. He hasn't really figured out what he's supposed to do with the dogs yet, but he's really enjoying learning how to play with them. He's also living with a cat in his foster home and he's learning about personal space because he would like to play with the cat, but the cat doesn't like to play with dogs. He has all good intentions though he just likes her and wishes she would play with him.

We are told that he is pee pad trained, but we aren't using them at his foster home and he's been doing perfectly good going to the washroom outside. He hasn't had any accidents in the house. He's really enjoying having a back yard to play in and is hoping his future home will have a yard. We're working on kennel training, but he doesn't go in the kennel on his own yet. Really though he doesn't seem to need to be kennelled and hasn't caused any issues free roaming.

Once he's settled in he just wants to get as much love and attention as he can and he loves everyone.
