Charlie is a shy boy who is looking for someone to take the time to get to know him. He loves to get out in the yard and sniff around and like treats.His adoption fee includes neuter, micro-chip and up to date on his vaccines and is $100. We would love for you to come meet him! We do adoptions Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11am-5pm and Saturday from 11am-3pm. Come to the shelter to see all the cats and dogs that are up for adoption.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our shelter staff will review the adoption contract with adopters.

Pay Fee

Male dog adoption fee $100 Female dog adoption fee $125 Cat and kitten adoption fee $40

Take the Pet Home

After our shelter staff goes over all the medical and micro-chipping information you will be ready to go!

The Jeffersonville Animal Shelter is owned and operated by the City of Jeffersonville, and provides animal shelter services to all of Clark County through a series of inter-local agreements.

Our mission is to provide every animal that enters the shelter with the best care possible. We want them to feel comfortable, safe, and loved while awaiting their forever homes.
