Sweet Miss Millie is ready for adoption! She was suffering with a broken leg at our overcrowded city shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized within the hour. Rockwall Pets jumped into action to save her… immediately getting her into a wonderful surgeon who was able to repair her leg. After plenty of rest, she is now ready to run! Millie’s a young dog, about 1-year old, with plenty of puppy antics. She is crate-trained, housebroken, and she knows how to use the doggy door. Millie loves older kids and does just fine with the resident dog in her foster home. She is full of love and life. She’s very smart and needs someone with the time and patience to work with her on puppy manners- she would do great in a training class! Millie weighs about 38 pounds and is current on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. She had a rough start in life but is now ready for someone that will love her forever. Can you be her person? Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees for dogs include basic vaccinations (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvo and parainfluenza), a heartworm test, spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if dog is four months or older) and a microchip.

The adoption fee for cats includes basic vaccinations (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calcivirus and feline distemper), a feline leukemia test, spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if cat is four months or older) and a microchip.

We hold adoption events at the Rockwall Petco every Saturday from 1-5pm. We're also at the Rockwall Farmers Market every Saturday from 8am-noon from May thru September.
