This handsome Teddy bear is a 3 year old stray who is looking for an active and loving family! Being abandoned by his prior owners, Teddy can be slow to trust, but with some patience, he'll become a loyal companion.
Teddy has showed no reactivity or aggression towards any other dogs his size. On walks, he has shown some prey drive towards smaller animals, so we would recommend a home without smaller dogs or cats, and only older children who have been taught how to properly interact with dogs.

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
