* Patches is available for the foster-to-adopt program *
This sweet girl is Patches, a 1 year old Medium Mixed Breed dog that would love to come home with you. Patches was brought to the Humane Society after her previous owners could no longer house her to due her not getting along with the young child in the home. Patches is a very sweet and friendly girl who has never met a stranger! She loves going on walks, will do just about anything for a treat, and zooming around the backyard! Patches would do best in an active home with parents who will take her on long walks, hikes up the mountains, or just run around outside with her. Patches will need to be the only animal in the home as well as no young children in her home. This sweet girl has done very well learning our potty routine here, but she may need some help adjusting to the routine in her new home. Patches is current on her vaccines, heartworm tested negative, microchipped and spayed so she's ready to come home with you today! Come meet this sweetie at the Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook, open every day from 12-6 pm! Please give us a call at 817-249-3647 if you have any questions!

Our History
The Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT) was founded in 1905 and is the oldest animal welfare organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. While the organization’s name has evolved from the Fort Worth Humane Society in 1905, to the Tarrant County Humane Society in 1910, to the Humane Society of North Texas in 1982, its focus has always been on caring for animals in need. HSNT provides services such as pet adoptions, low-cost spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations, returning lost pets to their owners, cruelty investigations and humane euthanasia. HSNT operates four pet adoption centers and a quarantine facility in Tarrant County, as well as an equine and livestock ranch located in Johnson County.
