Corn Dog is a precious little boy who would appreciate a calm environment to recover in. He can be a little overwhelmed in a new setting and would like his foster to take things slow with him at first until he builds his confidence. Corn Dog is an easy-going guy that would love nothing more than a big comfy bed to snuggle up on.
Reason for Foster: Underweight, URI, Skin/Ear Infection, & Awaiting Dental
Foster Time Frame: 3 Weeks
Foster Care Plan: Corn Dog will have recheck appointments for the medical team to check his ears, skin, and to make sure he is gaining weight. Once he is feeling better, he will be ready for his dental procedure. He will go home with medication. We will provide a medical consultation at pick-up so you are confident that you can take great care of this darling little boy.
Corn Dog is also being treated for an Upper Respiratory Infection which is like a cold. He will go home with medication and will have a recheck appointment scheduled at pickup. He is likely contagious, so we recommend keeping him separated from your personal pets until he recovers.
I am available through our Foster to Adopt program. This program helps pets awaiting or under medical treatment be placed in with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If interested in fostering through our Foster to Adopt program, sign up to be a foster online and express your interest in Corn Dog. We can schedule a pickup and meet and greet appointment. https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/
