And now, a few words from me: I’m definitely not shy! I love humans, all humans, immediately when I meet them. My favourite thing is to be pet and cuddled. I also like playing with the cat, stuffies and any toy my foster sister is playing with. I’m getting used to walking on a leash and sometimes want to stop and rest, but my favourite part of walks is getting pets from all the people I meet on the street. I’m working on learning house rules, and I’m getting a little better every day.

And now, a few words from my foster mom:  Betty might be the most extroverted dog I’ve ever fostered. She falls deeply in love with every human she meets and can be found staring adoringly at anyone who happens to be in her vicinity. She’s quite playful and has lots of energy for play (less for walking). She loves nothing more than to snuggle up and nap, but she also has a silly side and enjoys tug of war, wrestling with the cat or her foster sister, and tossing around stuffies.

Betty is a smart little pup and her house training is progressing well. She is learning to walk on a leash, and can climb a short flight of stairs (less than 4) but still needs to be carried for longer staircases. She does the cutest little dance against the porch door or baby gate when she wants human attention and wins over every person who meets her.

Additional adoption info

In order to adopt from us, you need to complete an adoption application. Follow this link http://www.loyalrescue.com/application.php

Once the application is completed, it will be reviewed for suitability, and if yes, we will book a telephone interview with you, and check the veterinary and personal references that you provided. If that goes well, a home visit will be booked, and if your home is safe, the adoption can proceed. You will be required to execute an adoption contract and pay a set adoption fee
