My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Lola Grace. I'm almost eight months old, 12 lbs and I've loved everyone I've met. I’m a cuddly love bug. My foster mom says my fur is as soft as a rabbit. I have a play pen at this house but I'm also crate trained. I’m not spayed yet as I had some other issues that had to be resolved first. I will be spayed soon. I’m up to date on my vaccines. I do wear a diaper when I’m anywhere but outside or in the tub. I have had to have 2 surgeries to correct my prolapse and now I’m incontinent. My foster mom says it’s not bad though, I think she’s going to love me anyways. I love baths and for water to just run over my back. I love my human foster grandkids. They love me too. I love my foster sister Ellie Mae and she loves me. (She’s my favorite) Ellie had a rough life and I make sure she knows she’s loved. I lay on top of her next to my foster mom to give her security. My foster mom says it’s doggie pig pile. I whine at my foster mom when she leaves the room and doesn’t take me with her. I don’t like to be alone. I like to be with anyone that’s around. My doggie babysitter comes and sees me 3 times a day when my foster parents are at work. Her name is Sara and she gives me extra lovins. I whine at her too when she leaves me. I settle down and go back to sleep pretty quickly though. I look forward to her visits. I sleep in my crate with my blanket and stuffy. I sleep quite a bit. I eat a special food of salmon and sweet potatoes due to my colon, really well twice a day. I will love you with all my heart and give you tons of kisses if you give me a forever home. If you are interested in adopting me check out my complete bio to find out more about me and to apply at boston terriertn.org and text my foster mom, Teresa at 931-539-6244 so she can tell you how special I am.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.

More about this rescue

All breeds have their own particular needs and rescued pets often have special requirements as well, very often in want of medical care, often lacking nourishment and kindness, and often expensive to rehabilitate.

Because we have had Boston Terriers for many years, we are very familiar with their habits, peculiarities and their special needs.

We operate across the southeast under the auspices of the Boston Terrier Rescue Network. We share information and resources in all of the USA with affiliated Boston Rescues.
