My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kimmy is an adorable little puppy who was surrendered to the shelter with her sister. She is a typical puppy, full of energy and very playful! She looks like a lab/staffie mix but we aren't 100% sure yet.

She is super friendly and affectionate, and absolutely loves giving kisses to her human foster sisters and her furry foster brother.

Just like any young puppy, Kimmy will need structure and routine to establish boundaries and be the best possible dog she can be! We are looking for an adopter who is willing to take on everything that comes along with puppyhood and will be dedicated to training Kimmy. She is an absolute joy filled little girl!

Kimmy is:
14 weeks old
16lbs (expect to be around 50lbs fully grown)
Spayed and up to date on vaccines
Playful and sweet - does great with the larger male foster dog in the house
Playful with human kiddos

Additional adoption info

We pull our dogs off of the euthanasia list at the Houston city shelter. We get them settled into foster homes in Houston where we then get our dogs fully vetted and understand their personalities so we can find them the best forever homes. After adequate time to decompress and understand their personalities, we post them for adoption and arrange transport Northeast. Before or after they have been transported, we open adoption applications to various transport cities.

When applications are open for a dog, the first step is to fill out our adoption application, then schedule a call with one of our directors. If it's a good fit, we can either arrange a meet and greet (depending where the dog is and where the matched adopter is) or finalize adoption. Adoption agreements and adoption fees must be signed and paid before we physically transfer a dog into a potential adopter's care.
