Cadbury has had a dental and he is healthy. After a bit of neglect, Cadbury had to be shaved down, but don't let that fool you—his charming personality shines through regardless. He's eager to meet new people and dogs, plus he gets along famously with calm cats too. He would prefer to be the only dog getting all the attention at home. With a keen ear and a heart full of love, Cadbury is a quick learner who aims to please.
Of course, being the dapper fellow that he is, Cadbury will require monthly grooming to keep him looking his best, along with regular heartworm prevention to safeguard his health against mosquito diseases. This dog's adoption fee is $450 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). We don't buy inexpensive bulk dry kibble, our rescues are fed premium wet food diets as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program to ensure maximum health. .*All of our rescues receive complete quality vetting including full dental cleaning with pre-op bloodwork, spay/neuter, vaccines, and grooming. Dogs in need of specialized medicine will be seen by specialists, such as full cardiac workups, and ophthalmologist visits, all suspicious lumps, and bumps are biopsied, and every medical need is transparent to potential adopters. *Once you adopt from Get a Life Pet Rescue, you become part of our compassionate family and we are here for you if a problem with your precious dog arises.
