Introducing Curly Fry, the spirited 7-month-old Chihuahua Dachshund mix, tipping the scales at 15 pounds. Curly Fry and his siblings found refuge at Camo's Houston facility after their mom delivered them in a kind stranger's backyard. Initially timid with strangers, Curly Fry has a tendency to shy away but quickly warms up with patience, play, and plenty of treats. With boundless energy, he thrives on outdoor adventures and exploration. Curly Fry gets along famously with other dogs, cats, and children, embracing the joy of puppyhood with gusto. While still mastering his manners, Curly Fry is a quick study, eager to please and sure to adapt swiftly. Currently honing his potty training skills, he excels with a consistent routine but will benefit from ongoing guidance. Curly Fry seeks an active home, whether as the sole pet or surrounded by siblings, human or canine, where he can continue to thrive and grow.

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
