My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky is a Black Lab/German Shorthair Pointer mix. He will be 3 on June 26th. His previous family had him since he was 8 weeks old. His family was moving and Rocky couldn't go with them. Since being with his foster family, he has not had issues with adjusting to a new routine and family. He had a dog sibling in his previous home as well as human kids. Rocky is what you would think of when thinking of a lab. He does all the lab shenanigans-plays with his dog toys, plays tug of war, plays fetch-he drops the ball for you so you can throw it again and again and again. He is potty trained and has been doing great in a fenced in yard. When his humans leave the house he will walk right into his kennel if a treat is thrown in. He may whine a bit if he knows you are still in the house but upon returning he is quiet and calm until he sees you then he is ready to get out. He loves ear scratches and getting pet in general. He is great with kids though he does forget how big he is so he would do better with kids a bit older. He has a human whom he lives with now who is 7 and does good with him. He would love nothing more than to get on your couch or bed but his current fosters are not allowing that and he does pretty good with listening to those directions. He will sit without treats but has a much quicker response when treats are available. His previous family said he does great with cats and other dogs. Rocky would love to get adopted just in time celebrate his birthday with his new family!
