My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Creamy vanilla, fresh cherry pieces, chocolate chips and maybe even a couple of toe beans and purrs to toss into the mix to create the ever-delicious Cherry Garcia! These cute kittens may not be the two edible scoops of ice cream you were thinking of, but we think they’re downright scrumptious! Found in a Good Samaritan’s backyard after their siblings and mom fell victim to a dog attack, thankfully Cherry and Garcia were scooped up for a second chance at life. These kitties exude confidence, playfulness and so much love. Can’t you tell from their pictures?! Not to mention, these two will do anything for some human attention. They settled right in at their foster home and enjoy spending their time rubbing against their foster family’s legs, rolling over for pets and showing off their catlike reflexes while playing with toys. They also live in a foster home with almost every other animal species you could think of…Seriously, from tortoises and birds to Chihuahuas and Golden Retrievers, these little kitties aren’t scared of anything. If you’re looking for a kitty that is equally playful and affectionate, you’re sure to find that these two will make you melt. So, submit an application for one of these cool cats today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
