This helps Circle 2 Rescue - Colorado Chapter with pet care costs.
This gorgeous Husky is Koa, a 1.5 year old neutered male. Koa was hit by a car and brought in as a good Samaritan case. The owner couldn't afford care so she signed him over to the vet clinic who had to amputate his back left leg. Koa is now all healed up and ready for his forever home! Koa has adapted beautifully to being 3-legge and does WONDERFUL! He doesn't allow it to get him down. He is not even a little dog friendly (we tried big dogs, little dogs males and females...he just doesn't like other dogs). He has ignored the clinic cats while on leash but we haven't let him alone with them. He is a husky so he probably needs to be an only animal. He doesn't seem to be an escape artist and is not the normal, talkative husky. He is very quiet and VERY sweet. He loves treats and is easily trainable with them. He loves being brushed and is all around a sweet guy....barring his dislike of other dogs, he's pretty perfect. This is a courtesy listing and we will forward your application to the vet clinic who has Koa. Koa weighs around 57 lbs and it will be important for him to remain a lean weight due to his amputation.
If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/ The adoption fee of $100 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.
Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.
