Meet Will! This sweet boy showed up at Hero recently, but is already making friends and melting hearts! He is a one year old chihuahua mix, with coloring of a German shepherd...such a handsome boy!! He is house and crate trained...VERY well mannered and curious to explore his new home and family. This guy plays above his weight...he already loves mixing it up with our larger lab mix dogs, and both hangs tough with them and keeps THEM on their toes. He is a huge snuggler, and loves lap time and belly rubs. He will be an amazing addition to anyone's family, as he loves everyone and everything. Set up a date, and let's see if there is a match for life!!

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
