My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is such a sweetheart. He just wants love, toys, and a good space to run around in. He was originally surrendered by his owners to the Downey Animal Shelter because he got "too big". As he was due to be euthanized, we adopted him. Unfortunately, he and our other dog do not get along (not bc he's aggressive - she's just an old gal who doesn't want to play). He probably wants to be the only dog in a home or with a very active dog he can play with. He's all love. We have been crate training, loose leash walking, & correcting his reactive leash barking at other dogs. He is very responsive to training. Buddy just wants to lay on your lap and watch TV after he's had all his core needs met. He does need engagement through training and exercise as he is still an adolescent & he would do best in a home with a yard to run around in. He is so good with people of all ages - kids, adults, strangers.
