My name is Poonkie!

Poonkie is a rescue dog from Bosnia. We found him on the streets as a 2 month old puppy. After treating him for parasites and a skin condition (not current), we managed to rehome him in Bosnia. However the person could not keep him and in fear of where he might end up, we brought him to America. Hes been with us for many months now but due to unforeseen circumstances, I cannot keep him. Hes a loving dog without an evil bone in his body. He knows sit, spin, paw, stay and lie down. However due to his breed and age, he is high energy. He needs constant mental stimulation. Hes a big chewer and is very strong so he tends to pull on the leash. He is a jumper but we have been working on that. He is barely a year old and 80 pounds. He is a hound mix. I just want him to find a loving and suitable home. Experienced owner preferred. He is a bit of an escape artist so a fenced in yard required.
