My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bowie is a wonderful dog- bright and bubbly, gentle, warm and cuddley. He's a country dog, and we've had him since he was just 8 weeks old. Bowie's 11.5 years old and is barely showing his age. Bowie loves to go hiking and will stay by your side on the trail. Bowie has hiked many miles since he was a young puppy, and is very athletic and agile. He also loves to swim and fetch. Bowie is very obedient and is very proficient with basic commands. He thrives with daily obedience exercises and mental stimulation.
Bowie loves to cuddle and is a great companion. He loves to be petted and lean against you. Bowie's special need is that he has severe separation anxiety at this point in his life. He needs help in deconditioning the anxiety that he feels when you leave. He has been very destructive when left alone and will do best with a family who can spend a lot of supervised time with him or can crate him during the day. I have a very heavy duty crate for him.
