My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! I'm a spirited girl who was found as a stray before finding my way to this rescue. My past might be a mystery, but what's clear is my ability to adapt and thrive. Despite having an atrophied eye that has left me blind on one side, I don't let that slow me down. In fact, it gives me a perpetual wink, adding a touch of whimsy to my already perfect personality! ;)

I'm likely a mix of Chihuahua and Pug, hence my petite size—just 14 pounds of sheer dynamism packed into a tiny frame. I may be small, but I've got a mighty personality! I get along with other dogs and warm up to new friends faster than you can say "treat." Speaking of treats, they're definitely the quickest route to my heart—I just can't resist!

I'm an active and playful pup, always ready to go on adventures and share silly moments with my humans. Life with me promises endless smiles and unwavering loyalty.

If you're seeking a tiny bundle of joy who embodies both resilience and exuberance, look no further than ME! Let's make memories together—please inquire about me today!

More about this rescue

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
