My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Quiet and very playful!

Gage is a big, goofy, friendly boy who has one goal - FUN! He is so engaging and attentive with whoever he is interacting with AND who doesn't love a gentle giant that is great on a walk!?

ABOUT GAGE:
- German Shepherd mix, 2 yr old, large male, 70 lbs
- Gage came to EHS as an unclaimed stray
- He knows all his obedience cues and is responsive to his handler, he likes to work!
- Loves to play fetch but needs to learn to drop it
- Gage is neutered, house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinations

GAGE'S IDEAL HOME:
- Gage's ideal home is one that gives a lot of access to outside where he is happiest, hanging in a backyard or going for a walk
- He may be good with another dog in the home, that would be determined in a meet and greet and in discussion with the Adoption Coordinator
- He has not shown any vocalness during his time in the shelter so a home with shared walls may be okay; this can be discussed with his Adoption Coordinator
- No cats or small animals in the home, due to his goofy energy and size
- We think he could go to a home with older children that are dog-savvy

Gage is a happy, easy-going, confident boy who just wants to interact with people in a game of fetch or showing off his obedience skills.
