My name is Mama Kitty #fluffy-plume-tail!

Hey there, everyone! I’m Mama Kitty, a beautiful, sweet, but initially timid black Maine Coon/ domestic longhair mix gal with a huge plume of a fluffy tail who luxuriates when Foster Meowmy rubs my neck, back, and head. You see, playing with toys as well as being petted, hugged, and carried around in Foster Meowmy’s arms is all new to me. Foster Meowmy calls me a “work in progress” because, after outsmarting her when she tried to trap me as a teenager and then my birthing two litters of kittens in her yard, I finally was enticed into her garage feeding station because of the yummy canned food she offered me.

Once she brought me indoors into her bedroom, it took over a week before I felt comfy enough to come to Foster Meowmy to ask her to pet me. I’m still scared of new things and sudden movements, so I hide until I feel safe and explore very slowly. For Pete’s sake, since I’d lived outdoors and had to be wary of predators in order to protect myself and my kittens, it’s understandable that I’d be fearful until I could learn that I can trust a hooman.

What a discovery I’ve made recently that all hoomans won’t hurt me but can show me what love is all about. So I’m learning to bask in the attention Foster Meowmy showers on me, and my true personality is slowly beginning to shine. Funny thing is that I’m fascinated by the television. When Foster Meowmy turns it on, I leave whatever I’m doing and focus my attention on watching the screen. Of course, the Friskies wet food as well as brimming water bowls and climate control have me convinced that I can live like a queen indoors, and I never again want to return to the hardscrabble life of a stray.

Now that I’ve permanently retired from being a doting momma, I’m ready to find my forever home. I’m looking to be adopted by a patient someone who will give me time to adjust to my new “digs.” Then you can rub all over my body, and we can binge on Netflix and Animal Planet together! Arrange to meet me today! By the way, adopting a young girl like me who's past the mayhem of kittenhood has its adavantages. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.
