Hello! I'm Dixie Doo, a lady with a heart as big as my smile and ears! My friends at Happy Bark say I remind them of Scooby Doo because of my charming, gentle nature, but I've got my own unique flair. I'm a 70-pound mix breed gal who's as friendly as they come, not just with humans, but with dogs and cats too!
My journey began back in December of 2023 when I arrived at a shelter as a pregnant mom. It was a tough start, but it marked the beginning of a beautiful chapter. After having and weaning my own puppies, I didn't stop there; I became a surrogate mom to another litter of newborns who came to the shelter without their mama, helping them grow strong and healthy. It extended my stay at the shelter, but I didn't mind, because those pups needed a mama and I was still able to give the nourishment they needed to survive! Now, my puppies and step-puppies are adopted it's time for me to find a forever home where I can receive the love and care I've been giving.
I'm looking for a family who appreciates a sweet, loving soul who enjoys cuddles, walks, and being part of family activities. I promise to be your loyal companion, always by your side, and to fill your home with joy and affection.
