My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pippi Longstocking. She came to us after being dumped at the local shelter. Pippi is incredibly sweet and adventurous. She L O V E S people, especially kids, and would do well with an active family who will run and play with her.

We think she spent most of her life alone in a yard, so she is still working on manners, but is super smart and learning quickly.

Pippi is more of a pocket pyr, and has one blue and one brown eye.

TGPR is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the protection and rescue of Great Pyrenees in Texas and surrounding areas.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.

We have Great Pyrenees of all different ages. We want to find just the right Pyr for you. We also adopt out of state, so don't hesitate if you aren't in Texas!
