My name is Samantha!

My husband passed away in January. I am unable to care for his dog whom we rescued during Covid. Furthermore, the dog misses being around people a lot (like she was him). She also misses being around and playing with his other dog, who she was with constantly for almost four years. She has a lovely temperament and is very obedient, but does not do well alone. She needs another dog or a person around most of the time. She is very gentle with children. She is not high energy and is mostly happy to be inside with someone but spends plenty of time outside. She can stay inside 12-14 hours without complaining. My young grandsons love her, and she plays well with them. I am very sad to need to seek a new home for her, however, I, as a widow alone, cannot have a second dog to keep her company and am not home to be with her like my husband was.
