My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I need to find the very perfect home for the special little dog. I have been babysitting him for over a month. His owner had to go to a nursing home. So now he needs a forever home.

Meet Ben !

Ben is a 10 year old neutered Basenji. He is up-to-date on his shots and knows some of the basic commands. He has gotten along with all the other dogs that he’s met at my house.
Ben loves to run in the yard and prefers to spend much of his spare time outside, so he would require a doggie door and an area to run in.

Basenjis have a very cautious personality, and it takes them a while to bond with a person. So he would require some patience and extra attention for a while, but it is sure worth it when he decides to bond with you.

Ben does not bark very often, and he loves lunchtime. Ben likes to ride in the car and especially loves going on walks on the leash.
He is well house trained, nice around kids and other dogs.
