Sanibel is full of life! He loves to run, jump, chase other kittens, and play with all sorts of toys. He is also one of the first to show up for feeding and treat time. When he has finished romping around her cottage, he likes to snuggle in a volunteer’s lap. This adorable feline would be an exciting and lovable addition to any home.

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
