I'm glad you decided to check out my profile. So let me tell you a little bit about myself. The shelter had me down as a terrier pit but a dog scanner says I'm a Black Mouth Cur and an Australian Pinscher mix. Whatever I am I'm told I'm easy on the eyes (whatever that means). Speaking of eyes, I'm also told I've got alluring hazel eyes! I'm only three months old and weigh 23 pounds and still growing! I was brought in to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 5/4 as a stray. I am so glad to be out of the elements, but this place is noisy and the floors are cold. It gets particularly lonely at night. The lady that took pictures of me thinks I'm amazing because I'm so well mannered and calm for my age. She said I am gentle, personable, relaxed, and very easy-going. She couldn't believe I already knew how to sit for treats and did it without even being asked. She said I was really smart to find the most comfortable place in the laundry room to lay down. I didn't like the toys she offered me. She said I had a playful side when I decided to climb up on the chair. I like going for walks and I walk well on the leash. I didn't have a problem meeting other dogs either. They are nice to me here at the shelter, but I'm told there's no place like home. Will you offer me yours? In return, I promise to be a loyal companion... especially if I can sleep with you at night!
