What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Rex is a 3 (almost 4) year old German shepherd/Chow mix who became part of our family in late 2020 when we rescued him as a puppy while stationed in Nevada. My work has become more demanding and because of this change I don’t have the time necessary to give Rex the life he deserves. He’s a very sweet, loyal and intelligent boy who loves hard and plays hard, he has quite a bit of energy but once he gets a chance to get it out he’s is very calm and affectionate.
He has grown up alongside dogs and has never had any problems with those in his pack. His shots are up to date but are coming due within this year. He’s always been a joy and we are heartbroken to have to rehome him but this is what’s best for him as it’s not fair to him.
We both truly hope he finds a good and loving home and he brings you as much joy and love as he has brought us.
