My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luis is playful, energetic, and happy. He is dog friendly with a tolerant dog. Slow introductions & a lot of guidance & direction are needed around other dogs as he comes in hot & too playful & crazy but listens well when told “no”. He is a major Velcro dog. He loves hard & will do everything to stay by his person’s side. He can hit 35 mph in 0.2 seconds to get to his person, which can cause him to crash into you & give bruises or buckle your knees. Probably not good for children & the elderly bc of that. He has been around a child once & did well while on leash. He loves balls & chew toys. He loves tug of war either with people or another dog. He’s a velociraptor taking treats but getting better. Very motivated to please & very motivated with verbal & physical praise as well as treats. He has very springy back legs like a kangaroo which makes him able to jump very high. He’s silly & slinky & likes to slide off the sofa head first onto the floor & somehow manages to not get hurt but seems to have fun doing it. One of a kind, very unusual dog/velociraptor/kangaroo/slinky.

Additional adoption info

Puppies under 6 months of age must be placed in a home with another young, playful dog within 2 hours of Philadelphia. We typically do not place female dogs in homes with other female dogs.
