My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Valentina is a gorgeous sleek, elegant dilute tortie. Petite in stature, she is a super friendly, calm, affectionate cat. She has been a spectacular mom to her four kittens and is now looking for her forever home as queen of the castle. She loves to be held and scratched on her head and neck. She will soak up as much love as you can give her. Still young, she is very playful and loves to romp with her kittens, matching their shenanigans pounce for pounce. A kitten at heart, she gets the zoomies just as much as they do. You'll know when she catches a toy mouse by her special hunting meow. Then she'll toss it up in the air, catching it and flipping it some more, or dashing across the room with it in her mouth. Valentina is a young, playful, social cat, so she will need to have a buddy. She is nervous around other cats, so she will need to be adopted with one of her kittens, with whom she is bonded: Rose (KRLA-A-6642), Godiva (KRLA-A-6641), Ghirardelli (KRLA-A-6644), or Ferrero (KRLA-A-6643). Any of them will be a wonderful life partner for her.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
