My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Hello, compassionate heart! 🐾

My name is Captain, and I'm writing this message with hopeful tail wags and a heart full of longing from my spot here at the shelter. Life took an unexpected turn for me when my former family brought me here alongside my little sister Maizy on 05/04/2024. Though we came together, the adoption of both of us is optional, though we would be overjoyed to continue our journey together.

At 9 years old, I may not be a sprightly pup anymore, but I promise my heart is as big and loving as ever. I'm a shepherd with a beautiful brown and white coat, weighing 66 pounds. Despite our recent hardships, Maizy and I are two very sweet dogs just looking for someone to share our love with.

I'm already neutered, and all my shots are up to date, so you can rest assured that I'm healthy and ready to be your loyal companion. Maizy and I know how to sit and lay down, and we're eager to learn even more tricks to impress you.

Our former family's living situation changed, and they had to part ways with us, leaving us stuck in this overcrowded shelter. But with your kindness and love, we're hopeful that our luck is about to change.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to two special companions who are just looking for love and a chance to start anew, then please, come meet me at cage #801. My ID is 657358, and Maizy and I will be waiting with hopeful eyes and wagging tails, just longing for the chance to find our forever family.

Thank you for considering us, Captain and Maizy, as your newest family members. Together, we can embark on the most heartwarming journey of love, companionship, and endless tail wags. 🐾❤️
