Meet the sweetest dog you could ever possibly consider adopting. Sweet Indy is a Australian Cattle Dog mix who came from a nasty shelter in Tennessee and was on the list to be euthanized. This shelter never publicizes their dogs and they underfeed all of them. Euthanization is no big deal to them. No guilt about it at all. Just another day at the shelter. Our Critter Cavalry foster mom watches this shelter closely since it is near her. She could not leave Indy there to die. She could see how very special she is and so she brought home this young 1-2 year old girl who weighs barely 40 pounds and made her a part of the CCR group of rescued dogs looking for great homes. This pretty girl with a winning smile, is so very tender and gentle with a quietness about her that is so unusual. She almost floats around the house and you never know she is there. She loves going in and out of her crate as if it is the first little bedroom she has ever had in her life. “Her” crate is a safe haven and we love watching her go to it when she needs some alone time. Good with housetraining, Indy has proven to be EXCELLENT with other dogs and great with cats. This little girl is a friend to all and you can tell when you look into her in eyes that all she wants is to be loved and to have someone to pour her love and attention on to as well. This serene dog needs a family to love her forever and keep her safe! If you want to wrap her in your arms and heart and take her home, please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com She is ready for a new start that promises her a forever place in this world.
