My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet these stunning gals at PawSafe, 348 Old Colony Rd, Eastford CT

Meet April and May: The Starlit Duo

Names: April and May Breed Mix: Airedale Terrier + Husky Eyes: Each sister has one captivating blue eye-their gazes mirror the sky at twilight

Background: These spirited girls were once strays, navigating life's twists and turns together

Warm-Up Time: April and May may be a tad shy at first, but patience will unveil their true brilliance

Full of Life: Once they trust you, they're wide open-ready for adventures, belly rubs, and playful romps

Separate Journeys: While they've been inseparable, they'll need time to adjust to being adopted separately

Leash Style: Picture them army-crawling on walks, curious noses sniffing the world around them

Weight: Under 40 lbs each-a perfect fit for cozy cuddles and long hikes

Health Status: Both spayed and medically up-to-date

What April and May Seek:

-Loving Hearts: They crave companionship and a safe haven where their bond can flourish.
-Leash Training: Patient guidance will help them master the art of leash walking.
-Forever Homes: Whether adopted together or individually, they'll bring stardust to your life.
April and May are celestial souls, waiting to light up your world. Adopt one (or both!) and watch constellations dance in their eyes.

More about this rescue

We work very closely with rescues in southern states to find new homes for dogs and puppies who deserve a family despite their state of origin.

Most of the puppies in our care come from over-crowded shelters in states with extreme over population and high kill rates. Our main goal is to place orphaned and unwanted animals into loving permanent homes.
