My wife and I got Turkey when he was a puppy and have had him ever since. He is now 9 years old. When we first got him we didn’t have any children and now we have three children under the age of 6. He does not exhibit any violence towards us or our kids and is very sweet, but is unpredictable around other small children. We are getting to the age where my kids want to have friends over and it isn’t manageable with Turkey. Turkey is a fun and playful dog, but as his breed dictates, is very stubborn, can be high strung, and very territorial. Turkey has never been one to get along with other dogs unless they are hounds (I don’t know why).
