My name is Laverne!

Laverne is a Min Pin Chihuahua mix (Chipin). She has had her shots, is microchipped and spayed. She is a rescue from Puerto Rico and currently being fostered. She is a 9 month old puppy and weighs 11 lbs. She craves human companionship, loves to cuddle, is active and loves to play with her toys. She would make a great family dog who would enjoy running around and playing with children. She is very easy going and sleeps throughout the night. Home ownership is required. A two week foster to adopt period is possible if there are other pets in the home. The adoption fee is $500 plus the $125 airline transport to Boston. The adoption fee is sent to the rescue shelter in Puerto Rico to cover the cost of spay, meds, etc.(total medical costs exceed the amount of the adoption fee). The volunteer foster care provider and volunteer 'flight angel' do not receive compensation for services provided.
